About the PositionThe Systems Operations Analyst will support all production batch processing and assist all Information Technology Services (ITS) groups, (e.g., Data Base Administrators, Business Analysts and Programmers) for testing, monitoring and implementation of data processing code and procedure changes. The incumbent will process incoming and outgoing data traffic between the organization and CalOptima Health vendors or business partners. The incumbent will also support the user community by resolving Tier 1 Service Desk support calls and, desktop issues or user requests.
Duties & Responsibilities:- Participates in a mission-driven culture of high-quality performance, with a member focus on customer service, consistency, dignity and accountability.
- Assists the team in carrying out department responsibilities and collaborates with others to support short- and long-term goals/priorities for the department.
- Supports batch scheduling, processing and secure file transfers.
- Performs trending analysis to identify reoccurring batch problems and implements quality controls for prevention of errors.
- Develops and ensures completeness and accuracy of production turnover to the next shift.
- Provides general Service Desk phone support for the organization including troubleshooting and repairing computer hardware, software and application support.
- Monitors Commvault and manages the backup tapes for off-site storage.
- Provides general networking and Virtual Private Network (VPN) support.
- Performs Active Directory administration: disable/unlock accounts, reset passwords and New Technology File System (NTFS) folder permissions.
- Provides Microsoft 365 support for Outlook, Teams, OneDrive and Office.
- Provides excellent customer service across multiple organizational levels.
- Completes other projects and duties as assigned.
Experience & Education:- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- 1 year of experience providing Information Technology (IT) support in an enterprise computing environment required.
- An equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the position such as those listed above is also qualifying.
Preferred Qualifications:- 2 years of experience in batch operations using batch management tools such as Control-M and file transfer tools such as IP Switch.

- Physical demands: While performing duties of job, employee is required to move about the organization. Employee must be able to sit for extended periods of time, as well as work at the computer for long periods. Employee is required to use hands and fingers, especially for typing on the computer and using the mouse. Must also be able to reach with hands and arms and must occasionally lift heavy office supply boxes or laptop case while traveling, up to 25 pounds. Employee must be able to communicate, particularly for regular phone use, face-to-face interaction and while presenting.
Work Environment: Typical office environment with minimal to moderate noise levels and controlled office temperatures. Employee may be required to work on weekends. During weekends, the air conditioner on the floor is turned off which makes the room warmer. Individual electric fan is allowed on the workstation.
